Botox® (onabotulinumtoxinA) is an injectable neurotoxin derived from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It blocks nerve signals to specific muscles, causing them to relax. Dysport® is a prescription injectable neurotoxin (abobotulinumtoxinA) used to temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. It works by relaxing the specific muscles that cause wrinkles, resulting in a more natural, refreshed look while maintaining facial expression.
Daxxify® (daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm) is an FDA-approved, peptide-formulated injectable neuromodulator. It temporarily smooths moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. Unlike traditional injectables, it stabilizes the active toxin using a novel peptide, yielding results that often last 6 to 9 months.
